Exciting news for all the youth out there! The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a new scheme for the youth of Uttar Pradesh – the Free Tablet Scheme 2024! Under this scheme, the government aims to provide free tablets to 2 crore youth over the next five years. Additionally, another piece of good news is that the UP government has also launched a free smartphone scheme, which includes a free laptop scheme as well.
Under this scheme, students enrolled in technical and vocational courses under the Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme will be provided with free tablets. Furthermore, students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma in skill development, paramedical, and nursing courses in various educational training institutes will be given smartphones. Registered youth on the Seva Mitra portal will also benefit from this scheme.
